Connected Care for Complex Conditions.

Autoimmune, Autoinflammatory, Complex Pain & More

When symptoms overlap, finding answers isn’t always straightforward.

Living with a complex chronic condition can mean navigating symptoms that don’t fit neatly into one diagnosis, one body system, or one treatment approach. Pain, inflammation, fatigue, swelling, dizziness, digestive disturbances, sensory sensitivities, and changes in mobility can appear across multiple conditions, and for many people, the journey toward diagnosis involves years of searching for answers and understanding how everything fits together.

Conditions that may present with overlapping or multisystem concerns include:

  • hEDS / HSD — Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders

  • POTS — Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome

  • MCAS — Mast Cell Activation Syndrome

  • Endometriosis / Adenomyosis

  • Lipedema

  • Fibromyalgia

  • ME/CFS — Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  • Chronic Migraine

  • IBS and Gastrointestinal Dysmotility

  • Small Fibre Neuropathy

  • Chronic Pelvic Pain

  • Prolonged Stress, Trauma, and Metabolic Disorders

These are distinct conditions, and yet many of them concurrently present. Understanding their possible overlaps, and underlying mechanisms help us create comprehensive care protocols.

Here’s What We Do Know:

Complex conditions often require support across multiple physiological systems.

Effective management may involve several healthcare professionals, different therapeutic approaches, and ongoing adaptations to accommodate fluctuating symptoms and individual needs.

  1. Nervous System & Sensory Support

    • Autonomic symptoms and orthostatic intolerance

    • Pain sensitivity and sensory overload

    • Sleep and restorative capacity

    • Predictability, choice and treatment tolerance

  2. Musculoskeletal & Fascial Support

    • Joint stability and proprioception

    • Muscle guarding and compensatory tension

    • Movement confidence and functional mobility

    • Gentle, individualized manual therapy

  3. Fluid, Vascular & Lymphatic Considerations

    • Swelling and tissue congestion

    • Venous and lymphatic function

    • Pressure and compression tolerance

    • Appropriate referral for persistent or unexplained edema

  4. Energy & Recovery Management

    • Fatigue and fluctuating capacity

    • Activity pacing

    • Post-exertional symptom monitoring

    • Adapting treatment intensity during flares

  5. Psychosocial & Emotional Support

    • Medical uncertainty and diagnostic delays

    • Loss of function, identity or independence

    • Mental health and chronic illness

    • Trauma-informed communication and collaborative care

Supportive Treatment Needs:

Here’s How I Can Help:

My approach to complex multisystem conditions is grounded in systemic education, clinical training, and experience in Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Registered Massage Therapy, Fascial Stretch Therapy, and my thesis research on Trauma-Informed Care.

I draw upon established principles of anatomy, physiology, pain science, rehabilitation, and individualized symptom management to inform the supportive care I provide.

My highly-skilled approach also embraces a biopsychosocial-spiritual model of care, recognizing that physical symptoms, emotional experiences, psychological wellbeing, relationships, personal beliefs, and lived experiences can all influence how we experience and navigate chronic illness.

Together, we can adapt treatment to your symptoms, sensitivities, functional goals, and current capacity, using appropriate manual therapy, movement, education, and supportive strategies alongside your existing healthcare team.

Your Care Pathway:

Your first step is a 75-minute Integrated Bodywork Session, booked as either Osteopathic Manual Therapy or Registered Massage Therapy.

This initial appointment provides time for us to explore your health history, understand your symptoms and experiences, assess your current presentation, and begin individualized treatment. Drawing on my clinical education, skilled training, and experience across multiple therapeutic approaches, I’ll help you understand which treatment options may be most appropriate for your needs.

What Happens Next?

Following your initial appointment, we’ll develop an individualized care pathway that considers your symptoms, sensitivities, functional goals, and capacity.

Your ongoing care may include one or more of the following five approaches.

ENHANCED RECOVERY

Focused Maintenance | Manual Therapy & Recovery Technologies

Shorter, targeted sessions combining skilled manual therapy and selected recovery technologies for focused treatment, ongoing maintenance, and support as symptoms and needs change.

RESTORATIVE INTEGRATION

Deep Restorative Care | Whole-System Integration

A comprehensive, 90-minute experience combining individualized Osteopathic Manual Therapy, therapeutic rest, education, and whole-system considerations to support comfort, adaptability, and restorative capacity.

INTEGRATED BODYWORK

Soft Tissue & Structural Care | Multimodal Manual Therapy

A flexible, 75-minute treatment combining Osteopathic Manual Therapy or Registered Massage Therapy with approaches such as Fascial Stretch Therapy, cupping, and recovery technologies to address musculoskeletal, fascial, and functional concerns.

NEURO-LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

Fluid Dynamics | Nervous System-Informed Care

An individualized approach integrating gentle lymphatic techniques with attention to tissue pressure, sensory sensitivities, nervous system responses, and appropriate fluid-related concerns.

PSYCHOSOMATIC OSTEOPATHY

Deep Sensorial Care | Release the Unspoken

A trauma-informed, body-oriented approach exploring the relationships between physical symptoms, sensory experiences, emotional wellbeing, stress, and patterns of response through individualized Osteopathic Manual Therapy and embodied awareness.
